Mechanic: Experienced in the restoration of classic and historic vehicles and passionate about them, you will be responsible for the completion of customer projects  from start to finish with team support where necessary. You will be able to demonstrate a number of successfully completed projects of the required quality and have personal referees/references to support the work. Able to think on your feet and work out solutions to the inevitable build questions you will also be willing to lend support to other team members as required. Working hours are 8.30-5.30 Mon-Fri with occasional evening and weekend work and the opportunity for race/rally support on premier historic events. Fabrication, welding and electrical experience are all useful but not essential. Hourly rate negotiable.

Fabricator/Welder: Experienced in the restoration of classic and historic vehicles and passionate about them,  you will be responsible for the preparation and fabrication of structural elements of the cars as well as the batch manufacture of specific parts.  You will be able to demonstrate your fabrication and welding skills and have personal referees/references to support the work. Able to think on your feet and work out solutions to the inevitable build questions you will also be willing to lend support to other team members as required. Working hours are 8.30-5.30 Mon-Fri with occasional evening and weekend work and the opportunity for race/rally support on premier historic events. Being able to multi-skill and support mechanical projects is desirable but not essential. Hourly rate negotiable.

Apparently the proof was required at Customs to determine that the car was not brand new. Nice to know the quality of workmanship is appreciated!

One of our long term customers wanted to have his Albatross speed boat painted as part of a wider refurbishment project. The boat is powered by a side valve 100E ‘marinised’ engine that we have reconditioned previously – seemed only sensible that we continued to make the boat look a $million with a new specialised paint job.

We specialise in all types of paint for all types of vehicles….most usually those with wheels, but if you have something other that needs our attention, please ask.

This car languished in an old barn in the US for many years before being shipped back to the UK and rebuilt from the ground up by Greenwood Motorsport. This has not been a rushed project for the company, but the finished TVR 200 Griffith is probably now in better shape than when it left the famous Blackpool factory back in 1963.

Every single component has received attention, including a complete rebuild of the engine, transmission, chassis / suspension and cabin trim. Meanwhile, the body has been finished in classic period silver gray metallic paint.

The 289 Ford small block V8 makes this pocket rocket go like a stabbed rat, the handling is from a day when looking out of the side window was the norm – not for the feint hearted…. but it sure is fun.

We wish the owner plenty of race success for the 2012 season, and will report back on the car’s progress in due course.
